Development of a Scenario-based Approach to Simulation Games Management

Jana Bikovska was born in 1979. She obtained a degree of Bachelor of Engineering Science in 2000 and a Master’s degree in Information Technology (with distinction) in 2003 from Riga Technical University (RTU). After obtaining a master’s degree, she started working at the Department of Modelling and Simulation of the RTU Institute of Information Technology as an assistant. At the same time, she started her doctoral studies in the study program “Information Technology”, researching simulation game development technologies. Since 2009, she has been a researcher with the Department, continuing the research and working on several projects related to simulation games. Since 2011, she has been an elected lecturer and has given lectures and conducted laboratory work and practical classes for both local and foreign students. Bikovska’s research interests include the application of modern information and communication technologies for the development of simulation games and the development of methods for generating, modelling and managing simulation game scenarios.
