The Thesis addresses the challenge of mitigating information system security risks within an organisation. As a result of the study, an adaptive security management model and a technological platform have been developed. It collects and analyses data from various sources, uses big data and machine learning approaches to detect threats, and automatically responds to security incidents. The solution has been tested at Riga Technical University, the Central Finance and Contracting Agency, and the Procurement Monitoring Bureau, significantly improving response capabilities and reducing security incidents. The platform is scalable, based on open technologies, and applicable in various organisations.
