Bioeconomy Innovations in Conifer Value Chain

The Thesis examines the importance and impact of existing practices, product development and carbon reduction strategies in the wood value chain. The research is aligned with the principles of bio-industry, bio-economy, value-added opportunities, and the global goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. Using a comprehensive approach, this study aims to provide insight into the potential of the conifer value chain. The paper examines the interrelationships of different aspects of the wood value chain and innovative products for increasing the value of the conifer chain.
