This Doctoral Thesis investigates brand positioning (BP) as a strategic approach to sustainable business development. The author develops and validates the holistic brand positioning model (HBPM), integrating five dimensions and 25 elements. The research confirms that BP is not merely a marketing tool but a strategic resource that enhances organisational performance and sustainable brand development when embedded into strategic management. Validated through expert interviews and practical research, the HBPM serves as a diagnostic tool for assessing positioning maturity.
