The Doctoral Thesis is a collection of thematically related scientific publications including four scientific publications and two publications in conference proceedings. The modification of the phosphorescent iridium(III) complexes in order to obtain solution-processable materials are explored in the first part of the Thesis. In the second part, Cu(I) carbene-metal-amide type TADF emitters are explored. The characterization of the photophysical properties and OLED performance parameters for the obtained compounds has been carried out.
