Experimental Study and Modelling of Small Capacity Boiler Flue Gas Treatment and Heat Recovery

Vivita Priedniece was born in 1994 in Madona. In 2016, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and in 2018, a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Riga Technical University. The Bachelor Thesis was about biomass co-firing, but the Master Thesis was about a small droplet flue gas condenser.

In the fall of 2016, V. Priedniece started working in the Solid Biofuel Testing Laboratory of the Institute of Energy Systems and Environment of Riga Technical University. Currently V. Priedniece is a researcher and lecturer with Riga Technical University. Her research topics are related to studies of heat and mass transfer processes in flue gas, natural thermal packaging, solid biofuel testing, and combustion processes. V. Priedniece is an author and co-author of 12 scientific publications and two monographs.
