The core objectives of the Thesis involve the creation of a novel fibre optic network architecture with a proposed access protocol, access block and forward error correction coding, a novel concept of coherent perfect absorber generation, and a new pressure sensor. These devices and methods delve into the theoretical principles and practical considerations for building aircraft networks that can work in radio fields.

This work contributes to advancing the state-of-the-art in optical communication and photonics technologies by exploring the methods, design, performance evaluation, and real-world applications of high-reliability aircraft networks.
