The collective scientific monograph “Real Estate and Economic Development: Synergy of Science and Practice” presents original views on topics such as real estate market, housing, urban economy and planning, valuation, sustainability, creativity, residential building and social housing management, village planning, real estate transactions, regional structural change and growth, energy efficiency, the use of a quasi-geoid regional model, employment and the role of higher education in the labour market at the national level, which raise awareness of the scientific and practical value of the topics.
The collective scientific monograph consists of three chapters devoted to the research of the housing market dimension and commercial property, planning and legal aspects of real estate development, as well as housing market problems and professional competence of real estate professionals. The monograph presents the results of the research conducted over the past ten years, demonstrating the interdisciplinary nature of research to the reader. The scientific and practical findings of the authors of the monograph, as well as the results of the research can be used in scientific research of economic sectors, in the research of young scientists and students, and are intended to meet the needs of professionals at all levels of influence.
