Synthesis of Bacterial Two-component System Inhibitors

Vitalii Solomin was born in 1993 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2014 and a Master’s degree from the Institute of High Technologies in 2016. From 2011 to 2018 he was working as a Synthetic Chemist at Enamine Ltd in Kyiv. In 2018, V. Solomin was awarded the Marie Sklodowska-Curie scholarship and started his career at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis under the supervision of Professor Dr. chem. Aigars Jirgensons. In 2019, Vitalii performed a secondment to Oxford Drug Design company to master his skills in the field of computer-aided drug design (CADD). The results of V. Solomin’s Doctoral Thesis are published in three international scientific journals. Solomin’s main research interests are connected with the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and their medicinal chemistry research.
