Synthesis of Bacterial Two-component System Inhibitors
Doctoral Thesis
Vitalii Solomin, Riga Technical University, Latvia
The thesis is focused on the development of new histidine kinase two-component systems inhibitors in order to defeat antibiotic resistant bacteria. For the synthesis of perspective inhibitors, synthetic approach of assembling of 2-aminoquinazoline and indazole heterocyclic motifs were elaborated. As a result, a series of new 2-aminoquinazoline-based inhibitors of histidine kinases two-component systems was developed. In addition, perspective phenylazole-based antibacterials active against S. Aureus were studied and described.
