Materiālu pretstība. Ievads galīgo elementu metodē
Course book
Dr. sc. ing. Juris Kalinka, Riga Technical University, Latvia
The textbook, in a simplified way, introduces a rather complex method for solving engineering tasks ‒ the so-called finite element method. It is intended for students who, to master the speciality, require knowledge for calculating the strength of beams and rod structures. The textbook also discusses the approximate variational methods used in the past (the Ritz method), which form the basis of the large object calculation programs used in computer time.
