Assessment of the Utility of EU Structural Funds Investments within the Framework of Stakeholders Theory

Liene Amantova‑Salmane is an expert in economics and regional development with extensive professional and academic experience in the management and monitoring of EU structural funds investments. She obtained higher education at Rezekne Higher Education Institution, earning a degree in Economics with a specialisation in Business Law (2001), and a Master’s degree in Social Sciences (2003). Since 2002, she has been a lecturer at Rezekne Higher Education Institution/Rezekne Academy of Technologies/RTU Rezekne Academy. Since 2004, she has been employed at the Central Finance and Contracting Agency, holding various senior management positions, including Head of the Latgale Regional Department and Deputy Director of a department responsible for regional cooperation. Her scientific interests include sustainable regional development, stakeholder theory, investment utility assessment, and project management. She is the author of several internationally indexed scientific publications and conference papers and has received awards from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia and the Central Finance and Contracting Agency for her contribution to the implementation of EU-funded investments.
