Ceļā uz bezatkritumu pārtikas patēriņu: ēdināšanas procesa organizācija Latvijas skolās ilgtspējīgas aprites ekonomikas ietvarā

Juta Dekšne was born in Rēzekne, Latvia. She holds a professional Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship with a specialisation in “Marketing Sector Management” (2011)  and a Master’s degree in “Management Science” (2021) from Rēzekne Higher Education Institution (from 2012 – Rēzekne Academy of Technologies, RTA; from 2025 – RTU Rēzekne Academy, RA). In 2021, she began her doctoral studies in the study programme “Economics and Business” at RTU Rēzekne Academy. Since 2021, she has been a research assistant at RTU Rēzekne Academy, contributing to the implementation of projects related to food waste reduction in schools. She has completed a research internship at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala, where she developed international collaboration and worked on developing a joint scientific article analysing and comparing the school catering process in both countries. Her research interests include food and plate waste reduction, consumer behaviour, circular economy, food system development, and sustainability.
