Energy Management System in Climate-neutral District Heating

District heating (DH) has big potential for implementing energy efficiency measures and renewable energy sources (RES) and reducing CO₂ emissions, as the range of RES technologies used is wide: biomass, solar panels, heat pumps, and other technologies and their combinations.

The aim of the Thesis is to assess the potential for extending the energy management system to integrate renewable energy technologies, with a particular focus on the solar system.
