Energy Sustainability Assessment Methods Towards European Green Deal Transition

Kristiāna Dolge obtained a Bachelor’s degree (2017) in Economic Sciences from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and a double Master’s degree (2021) in Environmental Science from Riga Technical University and in Environmental Engineering from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. In 2021, she began her doctoral studies in Environmental Engineering at Riga Technical University. With over four years of experience at the Institute of Energy Systems and Environment of Riga Technical University, Kristiāna has focused her research on energy sustainability assessment methods, climate and energy policies, and energy system transitions. Her work emphasizes energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, energy storage solutions, and broader sustainability challenges. Currently, Kristiāna works as a Sustainability Manager at Swedbank’s Local Asset Management Company, where she is responsible for integrating and monitoring sustainability practices within pension fund investment processes.
