This Thesis investigates the application of chaos theory for digital communications through two novel FPGA-based modulation schemes: AM-ACSK and FM-ACSK. Both combine antipodal chaos shift keying with AM or FM, using a modified Chua chaos generator and error-feedback synchronization. Mathematical models, Simulink validations, and hardware prototypes were developed and evaluated in AWGN and fading channels. The results demonstrate the practical viability of chaotic communications for wireless and IoT systems, with FM-ACSK showing better BER performance.
