The Doctoral Thesis aims to develop a methodological framework for spanning knowledge transfer boundaries in the cross-disciplinary innovation process. Written in English, it consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions, recommendations, references, and five appendices. Chapter 1 analyses the various aspects of knowledge-intensive business services (KIBS) and their role in innovation. Chapter 2 delves into the concept of knowledge transfer and barriers appearing in the innovation process. Chapter 3 details the methodological framework, research methods, and validation.
