Mikroaļģu audzēšanas tehnoloģijas integrācija biogāzes stacijās

In the PhD thesis, a novel strategy integrating microalgae cultivation technology within biogas plants was developed with the aim of enhancing microalgae biomass production while simultaneously achieving CO₂ sequestration and nutrient recycling. This strategy has the potential to enhance biomass security and provide an innovative approach to digestate management. The microalgae cultivation system optimized for colder climates was successfully developed and patented, suitable microalgae strains were identified, and the feasibility of coupling the system with existing biogas operations was demonstrated.
