The educational tool aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the field of real estate and, in particular, apartment building management in Latvia, covering theoretical, legal and practical aspects to ensure high-quality and sustainable property maintenance. The book describes the role of the real estate management field in the Latvian economy, provides an overview of the classification of real estate, analyses housing policy planning documents and the activities of the institutions involved, and explains the regulatory framework for residential building management. Information is provided on the qualification requirements and responsibilities of residential building managers. The educational tool will be useful for students of the study programs “Real Estate Management” and “Construction Business and Real Estate Management”, as well as for everyone interested in real estate management.
