Within the Doctoral Thesis research calcium phosphate samples with different crystalline structures were developed and researched with various analytical methods. The best parameters for the introduction of hydroxyl ions into thermally sprayed hydroxyapatite coatings have been found and their composition determined. By heating amorphous calcium phosphate in a vacuum the possibility of determination of the hydroxyl ion content in the amorphous phase was determined. An experimental device was created to generate and measure an electric surface charge on the surface of calcium phosphate samples. Surface charges were determined using thermally stimulated depolarization current method.
